Then we will pour it into a greased and floured bread pan, bake the cornstarch cake for approximately 30-35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Cornstarch cake recipe ingredients

  • 1 cup (tea) full of cornstarch
  • ½ cup sugar (tea)
  • 100 ml of coconut milk
  • 50 grams of grated coconut
  • 2 egg whites

  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • Condensed milk to taste for brushing (optional)

Method of preparation

  1. Place the egg whites in a bowl and beat until it reaches a snow point. Reserve.
  2. Place the egg yolks, sugar and butter in the mixer and beat well to homogenize.
  3. Add the coconut milk, beat well, add the cornstarch and beat well to incorporate.
  4. Put the grated coconut beat quickly to aggregate. Lastly add the egg whites and the yeast and stir lightly with a spoon to combine.
  5. Pour this mixture into a greased and floured loaf pan (27 cm x 10 cm) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, unmold, brush with condensed milk and sprinkle grated coconut to taste.
